I ordered the black version of this sword frog, and I am surprised at how large the width can be expanded to allow for larger circumference larp style weapons, especially those made from the “old school” pvc and pipe foam. Plus, in addition to the expandable capabilities, it fits my latex and foam “realistic” style larp weapons from Windlass and Calimacil. (amongst others) The great aspect is that the larger leather piece that is intergral with the two width straps has a very smooth, suede-like reverse side where the weapon rests. It is not abrasive, and helps secure the larp weapon in manner that protects it from wear while sheathed.

Great, well built piece. Adjusts to many blade sizes.

Amazing quality. It’s very adjustable and works perfectly for both my longsword and katana. I will definitely order from this website again.

A great piece to add to an outfit! I ordered the black version and it looks fantastic. I have a foam sword used for fairs and a proper metal one, and they both fit perfectly after adjusting the straps accordingly!

Look no further, you found the sword frog you need. Excellent stitched quality (a tier above rivets in my opinion), and can adjust to dimensions bigger than what I thought was possible. Will not fall off any time soon, and surely will stand the test of time 5/5

A little rigid plus adjustable means it doesn’t hold it shape well, initially at least. May want to mold it around something similar to what you plan to use, or you will spend a lot of time trying to sheath a blade, I will say this is likely a side effect of the thick leather- very durable feel

Literally the best sword frog that you can buy on the market, that isn’t custom made. I’ve spent over 2 hours looking through amazon, etsy, and other sites. All of them were cheap looking, mass produced, did not look sturdy, buckles looked cheap or out of style, or annoying to wear, or made your scabbard angle weird. This holder’s stitching is on point, Just gotta hit the leather fuzz with a lighter and its perfect. I will recommend this to anyone who asks.

Very cool looking sword holder. Well made, but the leather is a bit stiff and may require for you to break it in a bit to loosen it up. I could see this easily working well with a number of different outfit types, so it is very versatile.
When placing this order I purchased many items. If you found my review of this item helpful, I have listed below all the other items I have ordered, where I have also left a review, in case you were also considering that item for yourself.
