I ordered this item because I needed a black, long-sleeved shirt with a dressy collar to go with my red Mytholon Garen Suede Vest (MY100145). This shirt worked perfectly! It looks exactly as pictured & the material is a durable, quality cotton. It’s not too thick & not too thin. It may be a little uncomfortable to wear this in hot weather but would be perfect for cooler weather events & occasions. I didn’t want it to be too baggy on me since I was wearing it under the vest. So, I opted for a Size Medium for my 42-43 inch chest measurement. The fit was just what I was looking for with room to spare & the sleeves coming down far enough on my arms. The material is stiff when it comes out of the package. So, I washed it on a Normal Wash cycle & air dried it. There was a little bit of shrinkage in the overall length & the sleeves, but the fit was still very roomy & the sleeves were still long enough. I think it would have been worse if I had put it in the dryer. It is cotton , after all. There was no neck measurement posted on this item—which would have been helpful to know before purchasing since it can button up around your neck. I measured the inside of the collar on mine & it was just over 16 inches. It was close, yet comfortable around my neck (which measured just under 17 inches…weird.) & it looked like it did on the model pictured on the website. If your neck is bigger than 17 inches, you may have trouble getting this collar buttoned & still feeling comfortable. I’m not sure if the neck size goes up in the bigger sizes of this shirt. On the bright side, this shirt looks awesome unbuttoned all the way down, as well. The inside tags at the neck are stiff & itchy, so I clipped them out. The price is kind of high, but it’s a great shirt that washes & wears very well. I even wear it to work–tucked in & under a modern vest with jeans. It gives me another chance to use it. Great colors to choose from, as well. I have since bought Green & Red and they look exactly as pictured, too.
