A third German influence on Medieval Europe was the Vikings, and their successors the Normans. Actually, the word "Viking" refers to an occupation, that is slipping up little streams and creeks -viks- to plunder unsuspecting villages. The people commonly called Viking were the Norse, a Scandinavian sea faring people from Norway, Demark and Norway. The Viking Mercenary makes a great collector's item or kids toy. The Viking Mercenary is very authentic to what they wore during that period of time. These figures come complete as shown (clothing, weapons, swords, armour, dagger, and shields) unless otherwise specified.
