The Lute was used in Medieval times through the Renaissance. The Lute is a relatively easy musical instrument to learn, especially if you have any experience with a guitar. Our Renaissance style Lute has a Rosewood body, neck and fingerboard. This lute has 15 strings in 8 courses and comes with eight movable nylon frets on the neck. Four fixed frets are mounted on the soundboard. The light spruce soundboard has one intricately carved rosette sound hole. Includes a hard case for traveling or storage. Comes with extra strings and an instruction book.
